Testimonial:

On Saturday, May 1, I began experiencing tightening in my lower back muscles. As the day wore on, the tightening turned to spasms whenever I moved certain ways, and changed from seated to standing, or standing to seated, positions. I am an acupressure therapist, so I began working points on myself, rubbed the affected area with Arniflora Gel, and iced it. By evening it was much better, though not entirely gone. Sunday when I got up, the spasms were back, and quite severe. I was in a lot of pain. At that point, I couldn’t really help myself much.

I began searching on-line for an acupuncturist near Germantown. One of the sites I found was the Eastern Healing Center website. I saw that Master Liao did Qi Gong as well as acupressure and I knew I wanted to try to get in. I was afraid I would have no luck on Sunday, but tried the number anyway. To my surprise, Master Liao answered the phone. He told me that Sunday was his day off. He asked if I was in much pain. I told him yes. So he said he just happened to have a little time that day and could meet me at the office if I could make it in 45 minutes. I was ecstatic to hear this, because I was sure I would, at best, have to wait until Monday morning to be seen.

I met Master Liao at his office and he did a wonderful session, starting some Qi Gong, then acupuncture, ending with some nice Ji, or drumming, down the back of my body. I felt much better. Later that evening though, the tightening and spasms did return, but not as bad as they had been. By Monday morning it was pretty much gone, just a tiny twinge if I turned too quickly. And by afternoon, it was completely gone.

I am very pleased with the great results from my sessions (I came back for another on Tuesday, just to reinforce the first treatment), and from Master Liao’s caring and nurturing kindness.
