Testimonial:

After injuring my shoulder and being frustrated with my slow recovery, I started doing Owen’s 12 movement qigong. I noticed I was sleeping better and wasn’t as tired in the afternoon. I also was starting to feel the energy in my hands while I was performing the movements. I wanted to learn more. I decided to take Owen’s tai chi classes.

I was a little nervous because I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to remember what to do. Qigong is easy to learn, but tai chi looked so complicated. Thank heavens Owen has devised a system where he breaks down the 4 minute routine into 8 classes. I learned a small section each week and had that week to perfect it and to commit it to memory. Owen also has produced a DVD and written a detailed booklet of the entire routine. I used them both throughout the learning process. Sometimes I felt like I had two left feet, but Owen was very patient and believe me when I say he doesn’t give up until you have learned to perform the routine perfectly.

As a retired nurse I am very impressed with tai chi. All the muscles and joints are used. Balance is challenged and improved. The mind is focused naturally as you concentrate on the movements. Aesthetically it is beautiful and graceful and puts you in a very relaxed state. Tai chi and qigong will be a daily practice for my entire life.
