Owen's Chronological History

1992: Became Tom Tam's student learning acupuncture, tuina, tai chi chuan, qigong, etc.

1994: Became a permanent member of the Chinese Traditional Medical Therapy Association.

1999: Created Liao Qigong Tuina Therapy.

July 2001: Earned NCCAOM diploma as an acupuncturist.

October 2001: Created Meridian Tong Ren Therapy.

October 2001: Created Yang Style Tai Chi Mini Form.

January 2002: Licensed in Maryland state.

February 2002: EasternHealingCenter.com was officially online.

June 2002: Eastern Healing Online Store was officially online.

July 2002: Developed SunGardenHerbs.com web site for Master Ming Wu's herbal store.

July 2002: Published DVD of Yang Style Tai Chi Mini Form.

August 2002: Opened the Maryland clinic in Gaithersburg.

November 2002: Published Tai Chi Qigong video tape in Chinese.

December 2002: Created TomTam.com web site for Mr. Tom Tam.

April 2003: Published the second edition of Tai Chi Dao Yin Qigong video tape in both Chinese and English.

June 2004: Developed Owen's Eye Healing protocol to improve many eye disorders, including weak vision, near-sighted and far-sighted, etc.

April 2005: Discovered and defined a new pair acupuncture points, Owen's Point Zero which is very effective to treat most of digestive disorders including diabetes, high cholesterol, low appetites, etc. 

August 2005: Published the DVD edition of Tai Chi Dao Yin Qigong in both Chinese and English.

November 2005: Moved the Maryland office to new Deer Park Office Center in Gaithersburg.

December 2005: Completed Yang Style Essence Tai Chi book in Chinese. Renamed Yang Style Tai Chi Mini Form to Yang Style Essence Tai Chi, 1st edition.

December 2005: Earned his Ph.D. degree in Oriental Medicine Research Advancement from American Global University.

December 2005: A patient family presented the Healing Hands frame to Dr. Owen Liao.

February 2006: Completed English version of Yang Style Essence Tai Chi book, 1st edition.

February 2006: Graduated from Eastern School of Acupuncture, New Jersey.

March 2006: Licensed in Virginia state.

March 2006: Added the holistic weight loss section on the web site.

September 2006: Attended Voice of America TV talk show (in Chinese).

 

Eastern Healing Center provides Qigong healing, Pi Gu healing, Holistic Weight Loss, Distance Healing, Acupuncture and Tai Chi in Gaithersburg, Rockville, Potomac, and Germantown in Montgomery county, Maryland, and the whole Washington DC area.

Eastern Healing Center is located near the Old Towne Gaithersburg. Our office is only about 1 mile north to Rockville; 12 miles north to Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton; 4 miles south to Germantwon and 6 miles east to Potomac. Gaithersburg is at the center of Montgomery county, Maryland. Montgomery County is a suburban county located in the state of Maryland, north of Washington DC.

Gaithersburg is surrounded by Rockville, Takoma Park, Barnesville, Bethesda, Brookeville, Chevy Chase, Darnestown, Germantown, Glen Echo, Kensington, Kentlands, Montgomery Village, North Potomac, Potomac, Silver Spring, Wheaton, etc.
