Based on Our Modern
Chinese Medicine Theory...
Our
healing therapies are based on our Modern
Chinese Medicine Theory which recognizes six layers in the human body
energetics. We first re-activate all pre-natal energetics and facilitate the
post-natal energetics on the organic level. Then we apply the acupuncture point
combination with either inner energy or external energy to clear Qi stagnation,
and fill up insufficient energy from inner layer to outer layer to achieve maximum treatment effectiveness.
This healing system is much more powerful than traditional healing approaches, due to the energy supply from pre-natal
energetics and the energy that is directed to the needed area by using
combination points,
Our
healing principle is based on the principle that from Chinese medicine "Pain
is from Qi obstruction." We just remove the Qi obstruction/Qi stagnation/the blockage from the area which caused the
illness. To adjust the Qi movement, we have two very basic means:
I) Tonification
II) Sedation
Qigong healing is mainly based on the
tonification and the sedation of Qi to remove the pathogen Qi:
Tonification: Tonification is to
fill up the insufficient Qi. Qi moves the blood. It could lift up the patient's
immune system and self recovery capabilities.
Sedation: Sedation is to remove
excess pathogen Qi which will reduce fever, remove stagnation and clear
toxical substances from patient's body.
In general, we include one to two of
the healing therapies listed below as a treatment. It is subject to the type of
illness.
Qigong healing: Qigong can penetrate that is
being treated very deeply into the body. It is the best healing therapy for illnesses related to
the brain, marrow, bone and nerve, etc. Besides traditional Qigong healing, we
employ Tom Tam's Tong
Ren Therapy as well as Owen Liao's Meridian
Tong Ren Therapy.
Distance
healing: Distance healing is based on the spaceless feature of Qigong
healings, so it is a kind of Qigong healing. We provide this type of healing
service via phone calls.
Acupuncture:
Acupuncture employs thin needles inserted at acupuncture points on the human body as a
mean of stimulation to regulate the Qi and regain the immune functions and self-recovering
capabilities.
Qigong Tuina: Tuina is a Chinese
style massage. It usually works with the meridian systems, so it can treat
illnesses. Qigong Tuina can stimulate deeper portions of the body, and it is many
times more powerful than traditional Tuina.
Cupping and Guasha: Cupping and Guasha are similar. They are both used to treat illnesses on a broad area of a superficial layer. Cupping uses air
sucking to break the Qi stagnation and Guasha uses a smooth object like a spoon to scratch the skin.
Tai
Chi instruction: Tai Chi is the best exercise for maintaining the
status and health of the body. Over time, if performed regularly, practitioners
could gain higher energy levels than normal people. It is a form of Qigong.
Group
events: We will hold some group healing events from time to time. Group
events include Chinese medicine seminars, retreats and Tai Chi classes. You
are very welcome to join us.
Our Modern Chinese Medicine Theory offers us the theory foundation of treating
very difficult illnesses. It is all powered by its nature of diversity and
integration.
